Sunday school classes for all ages is ongoing each Sunday from 9:15am to 10:15 am. Our offerings are varied, and you are sure to find a class in which you can grow and learn.
 
All classes are open enrollment—you can join at any time during the year.
 

Adult Sunday School Opportunities

 
Bible 101
 
Examines basic Bible concepts in a verse-by-verse fun, relaxed discussion format, balancing Old Testament and New Testament study for better comprehension of the total message.
Goal:
Provide a basic understanding of the Bible and essential basic concepts. No previous Bible knowledge necessary but also a good review for lifelong Bible students.

Biblical Truths for Contemporary Discussions
 
This group examines topical studies in a discussion-type class. We are currently discussing 3:16—The Numbers of Hope, by Max Lucado
Goal:
Use Scripture and relevant commentary to understand how God wants us to respond to the ever-changing issues we face in today’s world.

Fruits of the Spirit
 
Our series, That the World May Know (12 volumes), focuses on the cultural, historical, and geographical context of the people of the Bible (those to whom God spoke). By understanding their world, we modern Christians will deepen our appreciation and understanding of God’s Word. The current volume we are discussing is Death and Resurrection of the Messiah.
Goal:
To strengthen our relationship with the Triune God, to reach a deeper understanding of God’s Word, and to reinforce how we are to respond in today’s culture. Previous Bible knowledge helpful, not required.

Growing with Grace
 
This group examines various books of the Bible in quarterly studies and uses RightNow Media to supplement. We are currently discussing The 23rd Psalm with Matt Chandler on RightNow Media. This is a short study (only 6 weeks) so we will soon be looking at a new study.
Goal:
Read and study the scriptural text to learn biblical principles and apply them to our Christian walk while focusing on Jesus as the anchor and foundation of our lives and developing a deeper understanding of God’s gift of grace.

T.G.I.F. (Together, Growing in Faith)
 
Examines topical studies and uses RightNow Media to supplement. Currently discussing Ephesians by JD Greer.
Goal:
To develop Christian relationships built on a foundation of biblical teaching so that we may grow in faith together.

Evening Women’s Bible Study
 
This fun group of women gathers every Monday through May from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. We study the New Testament, memorize Scripture, and practice sharing the Gospel with one another. Women choose a study plan, then we converge to pray, discuss, and be changed by God’s inspired Word.
Goal:
We seek fellowship and deeper faith by focusing on God’s Word.

Axis
 
Examines current events, social media, and societal pressure that affect adolescents and teens. Equips parents with knowledge and tools to engage in difficult conversations around faith and cultural expectations.
Goal: 
To help parents build lifelong faith in their children by giving them the power to translate culture and faith, one conversation at a time.

Presbyterian Women
 
Groups meet monthly to study and share God’s Word, as well as support mission work locally (Healing Eagle Clinic, School Supplies, and Prayer Shawl); nationally (USO); and globally (Marion Medical Mission, Friends of Barnabas, and Inspire International).
