Raising Grace Children’s Ministry


Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and don’t ever stand in their way for this is what the kingdom of God is all about.”

Raising Grace Children’s Ministry exists to help our children learn about God’s never-ending love for them. From Sunday to everyday we want kids to be confident in this truth.

 Nursery (Birth – 3 years)

The nursery is a welcoming place for littles to spend their Sunday mornings. Babies and toddlers will begin to learn basic concepts through engaging stories and fun activities. God’s Word is for everyone no matter how small! Our nursery is available during Sunday School (9:15AM – 10:15AM) and the 10:30 service.


PreK/K (3 years – Kindergarten)

Every Sunday kids learn from God’s Word through age-appropriate and exciting activities to help create a biblical foundation for their lives. Our PreK-K class meets during Sunday School (9:15AM – 10:15AM) and Children’s Church (10:30AM – 11:30AM).

Elementary (1st – 5th Grade)

Through engaging and age-appropriate activities kids will begin to dive deeper into familiar Bible stories. Our Elementary class meets during Sunday School (9:15AM – 10:15AM). Elementary aged kids join their families for the first portion of the service and are later dismissed to attend their Children’s Church.

Children’s Music Ministry

 

Grace on Main offers music opportunities for all ages – including our children!

 

We offer an excellent opportunity for children and youth ages four through high-school to use their musical gifts under the direction of John and Caroline Peabody and Barbara Fleming.  John and Caroline have worked together for over 22 years in youth music programming. They have written and adapted music, conducted youth choirs, directed modern liturgical dance groups and more. Barbara is a well-known musical leader at Grace and has led our wonderful Bell Program for many years.

 

Youth will explore a variety of ways to express their joy and love for God, our church, and our community! If your children love singing, dancing, drumming, or chiming, please have them join us!

Wednesdays at Grace (typically held during the school year)


Family Dinner is from
6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Kids’ Bible Study is held from
6:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
