Raising Grace Children’s Ministry


Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and don’t ever stand in their way for this is what the kingdom of God is all about.”

Raising Grace Children’s Ministry exists to equip children to grow in faith and knowledge of the Bible. We aim to take children beyond surface-level understanding and guide them into Christ-activated lives. Grace on Main’s intergenerational community of faith is here to love, support, teach, and encourage children.

 Nursery (0 – 2 )

 The Nursery class introduces the children to Jesus with age-appropriate lessons. The children learn that God’s love is amazing! 



Seeds (3s and 4s)

Building on teaching from the Nursery class, the Seeds class helps children learn how to reflect God’s character in themselves.
Children learn they can play an active role in the world by loving like Jesus. 


Sprouts (K-2nd)

Building on Seeds teaching, the Sprouts class helps children grow in their knowledge of the Word of God.
The children will explore the meaning of faith and what faith in action looks like. 


Saplings (3rd-5th)

Building on Sprouts teaching, the Saplings class helps children understand the core doctrines of Christianity.
The children will seek to answer the questions: What’s different about the Christian’s life?
What do Christians believe? What does the Bible teach and why does it matter?
Children are encouraged to take an active role in their faith. 



Children’s Music Ministry

 

Grace on Main offers music opportunities for all ages – including our children!

 

We offer an excellent opportunity for children and youth ages four through high-school to use their musical gifts under the direction of John and Caroline Peabody and Barbara Fleming.  John and Caroline have worked together for over 22 years in youth music programming. They have written and adapted music, conducted youth choirs, directed modern liturgical dance groups and more. Barbara is a well-known musical leader at Grace and has led our wonderful Bell Program for many years.

 

Youth will explore a variety of ways to express their joy and love for God, our church, and our community! If your children love singing, dancing, drumming, or chiming, please have them join us!

Wednesdays at Grace (typically held during the school year)


Family Dinner is from
6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.


Bible Study for All Ages is held from
6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
